Venue guide
About the venue
Eagle Bar is a men-focused LGBTQ+ venue at 15 Bloom Street in Manchester’s Gay Village. The basement setting gives it a more intimate, club-like feel than many of the larger Canal Street bars, and the venue has a strong identity within Manchester’s gay male nightlife.
Alongside its main bar and dance spaces, Eagle hosts a changing programme of DJs, themed nights and more specialist events, including fetish-oriented sessions. It is therefore a more specific nightlife choice than a general mixed bar, and visitors should check the venue’s current entry and membership arrangements before attending.
For people looking beyond the larger commercial venues of Canal Street, Eagle represents a distinct part of Manchester’s queer scene and sits only a short walk from the rest of the Gay Village.
